One of the most outstanding parts of the Shellman Grand Complication is its moon phase disk. The night-sky on the “Classic” is kept in deep navy blue – the superimposed moon and stars are of gold foil. In the “Sports” the night-sky appears black – the superimposed moon and stars are of silver foil. This gives the modern and cool look to the traditional moon phase design.
