The leaf-like narrow hands are called leaf hands. The hands were initially produced for the Shellman's original watch, Grand Complication, and have been made more three-dimensional for this second original watch of Shellman. Also, the hands have been carefully polished and change their appearance according to the angle of the light. Furthermore, Shellman uses a mount plate in order to install the hands to a shaft. This is rarely seen even among high-class Swiss watches because the process is highly time consuming. As a famous film director says, the trivial but significant part is where the "God" of art is.
