The Cloisonné dial is probably harder to get a hold
of than the Minute Repeater.
A monumental antique piece such as Patek Philippe's World Time Cloisonné dial has fetched over US$2 million at auction, and are now showcased in "solemn" museums rather than on arms of loyal watch lovers'. Although the Cloisonn dial has finally seen a revival in Switzerland, unfortunately these new dials appear not to be the same as the traditional ones. |
